Deal on Re- Flash @ Velox Racing

Hi Guys & Gals,

Had a bit of an internet issue on Friday with my order with Velox to re-flash my ECU and the price had gone up from £ 150 - £180 ! over the weekend
but Mike a very reasonable chap put the price back and then said if anyone wants to beat the price rise before the month end just mention my name ( Jeff from Nottingham ) and you will save yourself £ 30 !

Had my bike flashed by Mike a year ago and was delighted with the result,third gear suddenly became great fun on the cornish lanes and any rashness in first has the front wheel lifting,best £150 i had spent on a bike !!

Had my ECU flashed @ Velox Racing last month. Only been out on the bike once since due to crap weather but WOW, transforms 1st - 3rd gears ::012::

Does anyone here know if the ECU is the same on the 2011 Bike because Velox only advertise the flash as 2012/2013 and apparently that is because Flash Tune is a US company and 2012 was when the S10 hit the USA

fitted the ECU back and had a little ride at the weekend ( 70 miles )
WOW .... all i need to say is if you are thinking about having it done then stop thinking and get it done !.. there will be no regrets only grins ::013::

that makes life easier. My S10 is a 2012, anyone know if the layout is the same on mine as in the pictures. I read somewhere in another post on here about a really awkward bolt that needs undoing ?

no problem, yeah there is an awkward bolt but i was able to get the unit out without removing it , put a screwdriver through under the bottom to relese the ECU clip and reverse process to get back on ( would be easier to remove nut though )

ECU packaged up ready for shipping and money paid. I'll post up my thoughts about the new flash.

It was a breeze getting the ecu of the bike. Helped by the fact that the allan bolt that holds on the monting plate was finger tight. Ill reinstall it with some thread lock.
