Well it took a year but finally pulled the trigger and got a 2014 ES. ;D Thank you to all the members that make this form possible there is tons of Great information on the site. Now to add all those fun accessories, crash bars are number one, with cases number two.

Coming from a honda cbr 600 to a 1200 is a bit of a jump not to mention the vertical challenge of a 29 inch inseam. But screw it, it's pretty easy to 1 foot the ST since it is balanced and low center of gravity.

First ride impressions: this is one fantastic machine. Riding position is great. Suspension needs a little more fooling around to sort out, It is very soft. Plenty of grunt & power even in t mode. Cruise, heateted grips, an des worth the extra $.

A full set of cases is needed then there is no stopping. Hope to see you ST owners out there on the open road.

Congrats, SUPsurfer! I am somewhat inseam-challenged too (30") and you are correct. The Super Tenere is a very well-balanced machine. I don't find mine difficult to manage at all.

Best regards,

Bruce
