I left the key on. the battery is dead, can I use a conventional charger? this is what I got out of a manual. "To charge a VRLA (Valve Regulated
Lead Acid) battery, a special (constant-
voltage) battery charger is required.
Using a conventional battery
charger will damage the battery. If
you do not have access to a constant-
voltage battery charger, have a
Yamaha dealer charge your battery."
I have a small harbor Freight automotive charger.
I want to get it charged up to full stregth for starting purposes.
Do I need a special charger?
I dont want to remove it and take it to a dealer, that just seems odd to me.
what kind of battery is this?
2012 Raven. still new
