Have fun. I am sure you will like it in person. Are they doing demo rides at this one?

I finally got to see the bike yesterday at the Michigan IMS. Very impressed. After seeing it in person I am ready to put down my deposit. Hope it isn't too long after May before I get mine.

negative.....guess it is too cold and the anticipation of snow has prevented any NE IMS's from having demoes........

Hot Dog! I just saw the beast in person for the first time 5 days ago. A local dealer hosted an open house for all to come and see and hear a presentation about it. I couldn't believe it, there were 50 people there just to see this one bike. Up to this point I just couldn't pull the trigger to put down a deposit on a bike I had never touched, let alone heard. That all changed. I jumped up and down on it like a kid riding a mechanical horse in front of the supermarket. I would have put in an order that night, but the dealer wanted full bore MSRP. I've talked to two dealers since and I'm seeing who wants my business the most in Western Washington. I'm in and I'll tell you what color I order later this week......alright it's going to be black.

That's pretty damn impressive ..... and only for the period that you were there. I have a notion that this machine have a good following in the US. The UK strangely does not appear to be grasping this bike at all. It has been a fact that over the year the Brits have a love affair with full on sports bikes .... that's definitely changed but I can't see for sure what it is they're buying instead.
