Hey there guys! Has anyone tried these hand gaurds on their S10? I am considering changing bars to protaper contours. Do I have to re-tap Protapers with aftermarket hand gaurds?

You have to re-tap if you want to use the stock bar end weights. If that's not important to you many handlebar manufacturers make expanding rubber plugs that will hold the bar ends just fine. I know Tusk does this for their d-flex line as I run those on my KLR. HDB also makes a tap kit if you want to use their setup, which is arguably the best set of hand guards on the market. http://www.highwaydirtbikes.com/RONDO said:
