Does Cyclops sell individual bulbs?

Yes but pricey. RMATV sells them for $58 each. If you bought a pair would be a little less each. I believe BMW has a model that uses H7 bulbs so you could buy a kit to get two.

Brainsnap! I've been chasing a "front end" noise for awhile now and after reading this I bet this is it. Thanks

I also just had another Cyclops bulb burn out so now two failures within one year, I do ride alot though so have an estimated ~500 hrs life on each before they failed. Both had the same failure mode, one of the two LED chips on a single bulb burned out and both on the left side. So not complete darkness but with a single LED less light output than halogen bulbs. Cyclops had great customer service quickly replacing the first failure but second one is going slower. I now am forced to pack spare bulbs on my long trips as have lost confidence.

I now have to give Cyclops a "Do Not Recommend" rating for the Tenere. Their 30,000 rated life is based on theorical calculations only without any real world testing.

I have read of at least 3 other Tenere owners with the same failure mode on a Cyclops bulb. Always just one of the two LED chips burning out. Curious if others had that failure on the left side same as both of mine also.

Good to hear the reviews on the LED's, this was something I was considering in the past but always concerned with problems like this.... Keep the reviews coming!

I agree it's good to hear the reviews, and I'm still waiting for some members to post their results. Getting some good feedback on Cyclops, but we need more input.

Love my Cyclops LED kit ! But so far only have about 5,000 miles on the kit and no failures, in my opinion the light output is outstanding, the stock setup was very lousy.

Cyclops stepped up their game on my second failure and got a replacement on the way to me already so back to great customer service. I was afraid they were going to require the defective bulb received back first.

Interesting to note that they are not requiring defective bulb to be returned this time. Read into that what you may but to me it says common understood failure mode so no need to verify and analysis the defect.

I've about 6 months (7,500mi) of use with my LED's and still burning bright. I did have a cap pop off during a ride. Saw it was missing, turned back and found it in the road after a Jeep Cherokee ran it over. A couple tabs broke and it was a bit out of round but I massaged it back into place and it's holding tight. I'll keep a closer eye on both of them from now on.

I got some nighteye bulbs ($28.86 ebay) today to replace the xpensive ($180 cyclops adventure sports)) cyclops that went out right after the pitiful one year warranty went out. HOWEVER One of them didn't work right out of the box. So I put one of the nighteyes in and can't tell the difference in the different bulbs output at all. Nighteye $28.86 with a 3 year warranty vs Cyclops $180 with a 1 year warranty. Now to see if I get a free bulb from ebay for the DOA one I received. Even if I don't it was still way cheaper. The cyclops dust covers are some crude lookin, shiitty fitting things too. Looks like they were made by a kid in shop class. Got to silicone them on or the dust covers will fall off.

Post back after you get both Nighteye's in and can do a comparison against the Cyclops. I like the idea of no fan and no module but heat buildup could be an issue for the Tenere in some climates. Stock dust covers can be used with the Nighteye's? Where can you get the 3 year warranty honored? Ebay listing says buyer pays shipping both ways to China so expect to be without a bulb for a month or more. But at half the replacement cost of Cyclops one could just buy an extra set as backup. I say half the cost as Cyclops gives you 50% off discount for failures outside of the one year warranty. Also my Cyclops dust covers fit fine, seal good without need for silicone and no issues for over 30K miles. I've had them on and off a few times also.

With one of each installed. I can hardly tell any difference. They were ordered from eternaldigital on ebay. It took about 7 days to get them to Ms. It says they are located in new york somewhere?? $28.86 Free shipping. The box they come in says 3 years warranty 1000000 hr life. I'll have to see how the replacement bulb deal goes. I didn't look real hard for a better deal. I usually run across a better deal after I order something. I order from sites on ebay in N. America. Been down the chinese route a few times. Can take forever to get and are more likely to get ripped off. Not to say a good ole N. American won't do it too.

Is that from riding the bike at night or just looking at the headlights turned on from in front of the bike. Low beam and high beam? Any spread of light beam differences?

Those tabs on the covers are a little tricky to get installed properly but I've never had a cover come off. After I installed them I used a yellow marker to mark them so it's easier to tell exactly how there supposed to go on next time.
