Current Map

Hi all,

I have a 2016 Super Tenere ES, and I'm wondering how I can tell if I have an up-to-date map. Does I need to take it to a dealer to find out?

Yamaha doesn't change the ecu maps year to year in a model run. There appears to be a slight difference in what we refer to as Generation I and Gen II, 2013 to 2014. We'll have to wait for Gen III to see if there is another change. You can send the ecu off to an aftermarket guru and have the map changed, flashed. The most common flash does wonders for the Gen I, and is a great improvement on the Gen II.
