Got to take a day and cruise around one of my favorite places. Mount Dessert Island ME, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Here are a few photos on my trip.
The S10 on the sand bar that is the name sake for Bar Harbor ME. WHen the tide is out you can ride/drive across the sand bar.....its hard back sand and granit cobble stones. Mid day its very crowded with people walking about.
Ooops this sailboat was grounded at Hadleys Point Beach...no idea what the story was but the tide was in when this pick was shot....

The next series of photos are from Acadia NP...
As you can see a jewel in the Northeast. Well worth the trip....park entrance fee for motorcycles in $5 for the whole week.. $20 for cars. If you go I recommend going in either late may eraly June or September. The crowds during the summer can be heavy.....also when cruising the park early morning 8-9AM is the best time before traffic picks up.
I have video of the park loop road and will post it when I get it edited.
