Cruise Control turns itself off intermediately

Hi all, please can anyone guide me on this, my cruise control without our any change or input will turn itself off and will not allow me to set or resume using it until I have pulled over and turned the ignition off and then back on. Had Yamaha Service Centre look at it at recent 20K service and of course it they could not replicate it. Any thoughts greatly appreciated! (2021- XT1200ZE)

Dicky switch somewhere? brake lever/pedal/clutch/throttle?

Have someone follow you to see if your brake light is coming on erratically. Check the adjustment and function of the rear brake switch. There was a recall for the front brake switch, your bike may be too new to be within the VIN range but could still have a defective switch.
Also check the throttle close switch and clutch switch.
Did the dealer check for stored error codes?

This is the symptom behind the brake switch recall. I had the same issue with cruise control. Since the front brake switch was replaced I haven't had the issue.

Your local dealer should run your VIN and see if you are eligible for the recall.

If course, it could be something else. But the recall is a good place to start.
