Hey folks,
Bought some LED flood lights and made some mounting brackets out of 1/8" X 2" aluminum angle. My worry is that do you think the fender would hit them under full compression? Can't say I'd ever plan on taking the bike anywhere that I'd fully compress the forks but who knows?? I may redo them with the lights mounted further out to miss the fender.

Opinions?

Good point from avc. I mounted mine down on
The fork legs so I can see better when cornering

Could you have run the angle iron all the way across
Instead of 2 pieces?

Ditch the brackets and mount directly under the nose. Mine are from LEDRider, very similar to those that ac has, all you do is flip the light brackets.

I hope not or I'm in trouble as well as that's exactly where the Clearwater Lights' Tenere kit puts the Kristas. IME Clearwater kit is excellent so I'd be very (unpleasantly!) surprised if it's an issue.

(I know the attached photo is very dark but I couldn't be bothered to move the bikes around to get the Tenere out of the garage)
