I'm happy with the Rumbux crash bars myself.
If you're importing from Europe, you'll need to factor in delivery costs and tax (vat + customs tax), which will be added to the base price of the Rumbux.
The price is still a little lower than that of Altrider bars, but Rumbux is still available without any worries.
I haven't had a chance to test them in difficult conditions, but I did touch a lower bar when the original shock absorber (since changed) was heavily compressed.
In any case, the product seems to be of good quality.
