Crash bar, Rumbux, Altrider ?

I'm happy with the Rumbux crash bars myself.
If you're importing from Europe, you'll need to factor in delivery costs and tax (vat + customs tax), which will be added to the base price of the Rumbux.

The price is still a little lower than that of Altrider bars, but Rumbux is still available without any worries.

I haven't had a chance to test them in difficult conditions, but I did touch a lower bar when the original shock absorber (since changed) was heavily compressed.

In any case, the product seems to be of good quality.

Installed the T-Rex on my '20 ES, by myself and it was not difficut at all. Use a long pry bar and a long socket to loosen the two 17mm bolts above the headers and they'll be a lot easier to pop loose. These crash guards are solid and yes not feather lite, I almost returned when I felt the weight but there's nothing like this on the market and the quality is there, not that expensive either.
Great bars to mount extra lights and hwy pegs although I'm not sure exactly where would the best location be. I aso have the skid plate but will only mount that when I have a trip planned that will call for it. I hope these pics will help someone else before buying them.

If there are still stainless under the black powdercoat(?) it is a magnetic stainless... Mine held a magnet. Looks pretty good on the white 2013, but I don't think they are still stainless.

A full set of alt rider bars ( upper and lower). And a T-Rex skid plate is probably about $1000. Alt rider bars are expensive but worth it. The Givi design is crap. I have wrecked both hard. Givi not so good. Altrider exceeded expectations.
