crash bar pegs

Been looking for a bit, I have yet to find any good pegs for up front. My bars are 1" diameter, any body else have any suggestions?

I made these and they are on Givi bars. The same idea would work on different bars, I think....

What material did you make those "plugs" you put into the Givi mounting tubes?

I used rubber plugs from HD. I had to make a holder and then chucked them in my drill press. Used a file and that is the result.

I have the Yamaha stock crash bars.

I dont think that chrome ones will look good with all the black.

I know several people that have kuryacken pegs attached to their engine bars. Seems like they have alot of adjustment in them and provide the necessary drop for comfortable foot position. My farkle piggy bank is tapped for this month, but I might explore these in the future.

biggest problem for me is my bars are 1 inch diameter and most pegs are 1 1/4 diameter.

They are mounted to the same bolts as the Altrider engine guard, made them of 1" tube to look like they're part of the Altrider engine guard, the pegs are from http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/4662 http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/4666

Different companies fabricate engine guards to fit all Teneres, The ones I made only fit on a Tenere with Altrider engine guards. I would have to make them to fit a stock bike, OEM engine guard, Altrider, etc, etc.

I tried to make them as comfortable as possible specially for my bad leg, but in a way that when folded up (off road mode ) the engine guard (as I prefer to call them) hits the ground first if (when :-\ ) you drop your bike.

Why limit to pegs? Floorboards rock! I got a set of universals from JC Whitney for around 50 bucks, they fold up nicely & pivot any way you want. Can be used as floorboards, small tables ::003:: , crash bar protectors and even mini wings. Different angles:

Yes. These are mounted to 1" altrider bars
