Not the kind of bike you might be thinking of but I cracked the carbon fiber frame of my mountain bike. 
With 2 1/2 years and 9200 km on it, it started squeaking badly whenever I started pushing hard on the pedals. The source became apparent after riding it for a while. Where the cranks mount to the frame was a crack on each side about 1/2 way around the bottom bracket. Thankfully Santa Cruz stands behind their product and gave me my choice of replacement frames. Excellent customer service!
That's 2 aluminum frames and 1 carbon fiber frame I've cracked throughout the years. They need to invent some stronger materials!!
I guess the Tenere will have to put up with extra use/abuse till I get my new one!!
