Follow up -
Brennan and Tim came by a week before my trip.
Had the stuff all ready...
Lot's of inspection...
Came down to a very slight crack in the clutch cover that might (or might not) hold up over a 2 week - 5500 mile trip. Brennan decided for me that he would take the cover off his Tenere and that should fix the problem. I ordered one of the 3 new covers in the US and had it shipped to Brennan along with a new gasket. What a guy!
His bike is known as the Mountain Mamba...

We sorta' took Brennan with us...
Brennan even helped work on the 2 BMW's on the ride. Neither Japanese bikes needed anything...
