After looking at the price of the carbon fiber Pro Grip protectors I am swaying toward the 3m vinyl now.

Purchased a set of KTM actual carbon fiber sleeves. They snap right on and are pretty dang tight. The ridge at the bottom exterior of the top section of the fork keeps them from dropping lower. I don't think I need any zip ties or anything. I like the looks a LOT better than the gold forks. They don't go all the way around, but when angled just right, the empty space is somewhat hidden. See photos.

TW put a zip tie at the top and bottom of your tube then put the cover over them. The zip ties will keep the carbon protectors from scratching the gold tubes. ::008::

Ah! Thanks True Grip...didn't think if that....although I can't stand the forks, so if they get scratched I could care less!
