Couple of clutch questions

Well after a considerable delay receiving parts for the clutch master cylinder rebuild and replacing the push rod, I finally got everything done.

I've got less than 20k miles and the end of that pushrod had a little divot in it. Here's a pic of the new (left) vs. old (right) pushrod.

I'm not sure how much it will affect the feel or action of the clutch. I haven't been able to take her for a spin yet.

After doing the same thing on my bike with 26k miles on it and seeing how everything functions. There is zero need to do this other than MAYBE the little ball further on in life. The slave cylinder is self adjusting and takes up any slack produced by those wear points.

Clutch master on the other hand absolutely needed a good cleaning and refresh.

What nd4 said above, but just know, the more you hold your clutch in, the faster it wears. In other words, if you're at a red light in gear because you think you might get rear ended ...
