Engine Ice is Nice! But not nice when the weather is freezing as it's freezing point is higher than ordinary coolant mixs. Do not use in freezing seasons.
A liquid cools a hot surface better if it has a higher Specific Heat Capacity. I do not know EI Heat Capacity. From memory, Water has about 4.2, Ethylene Glycol (your everyday coolant) about half of water, and Polypropylene Glycol about 3.X (Motul MoCool and maybe Engine Ice). Ammonia is about 6 but it is not friendly to Aluminum.
I mix about 65% Coolant to 35% water to take advantage of the mixture's Heat Capacity. Cools better than 50-50 mix and I live in the tropics so I am not worried about the poorer freezing point.
