He did not give any idea of when he would have the bike ready. got my insurance quote at 361 with this bike and a dirt bike through Geico.

Just a quick shout out for our friend Phil. I attended his promotion ceremony to Captain this afternoon and I will say without a doubt that I would ride with this guy anywhere. Ex Marine, fireman, paramedic, family man (not only the very cute baby girl but a son head off to college on a full scholarship) wonderful wife and a lot of people in the Fire Department and the City of Folsom that think a lot of our guy. I call him our guy because he has a Tenere. Heck they even mentioned his Adventure riding in the ceremony.Firefight911 said:

Hign beam showed the greatest benefit. It puts out a very white light and a lot of it. It brightens things up nicely.
On low beam the additional light is less dramatic, but still helpful. Especially for extending the light down road and improving sign visibility.
These aren't HID lights, but I think they work very well especially for using only 10 watts.
I did attach some rather poor pictures, but I hope they will help show the difference. My camera wasn't up to the task really (or maybe the photographer)
