Condensation in the clocks

My 2016 non ES has developed some condensation in the right hand side of the clocks, I've done a search and can't find anything on it. The bike has 5k on it and due to go in for a service next month, the dealer is happy to put a warranty claim in but from their experience the clocks will need to be changed which will reset the mileage to zero which I'm not happy about. Has anyone had similar issues? I've another year left on the warranty so there's no rush and if I'm honest when the sun gets on it the condensation dries up but I'm concerned it'll stain the inside of the glass which will look unsightly.

It is not going to get any better. Contact the dealership about having it replaced under warranty.

Get the clocks changed under warranty, the dealer should record the change on the Yamaha UK system and also in your service book, they should also provide you with a letter stating the reason for the change and mileage. Having said that, there are services that can adjust your mileage on the new clock to reflect the accurate mileage.....

Cheers, I'll get it sorted when it goes in for it's 6k service. The guy in the dealership thought they 'should' sort it under warranty but I can guarantee they'd sort it as I wouldn't let it go until they did!

In the automotive world the new odometer will be adjusted to match before the install... before it even gets to the shop.
