On a more serious note I'm a big fan of S-100 cycle cleaner, spray on and hose it off,a soft brush and a sponge for the really nasty stuff. HondaBrite is the same stuff.
I've used the HondaBrite stuff.... good stuff!

I washed my S10 the other day for the first time. Only six months old. I belong to the school of only wash it when necessary.

Anyway, this is the most difficult bike to wash that I have ever owned. And I've owned many in my 50 years of riding. I counted and it has 2,659,374 nooks, crannies, and hiding places for dirt. I may be off one or two crannies but this is close. WOW! We need all the help we can get to clean this bike up. I like the idea of the topless model but my wife doesn't care too much for that method.

But, what a great bike. The more I ride it, the more I love it.

I find a baby bottle cleaning brush can get into tight spots.
Get a good one. The cheap ones don't work that great.

And I sure as hell aren't going to ride anything that is gay!!! So my bike will have to stay dirty!!!
Guess I ride the gayest stuff out there. :)

I find more out about the bike giving it a good cleaning. Loose parts, missing bolts, loose spokes etc...
I like trying to keep grit away from moving parts. Cars, bikes, boats I don't care. They get a full cleanig regularly.
My neighbors flip me shit all the time. I'll be washing stuff in the snow to dry in the garage. Always been a little anal.

+1 on that! I have never, ever washed the S10, ever. But then I just got it last month and it only has 90> miles on it. There is a bit of road sploosh on the bottom side and a bit of kat drool. My Maine Coon sleeps on the motorcycles. Seems to like the S10 better than the GL1800. Maybe 'cause it's a higher perch :D

But I'm not being judgemental about you gay bike riders - nothing wrong with that ::008::

Be careful Jeff.. Before you know it, your daughter will be in High School, and you'll wonder where the time went. :(
