Unlike a male cigarette plug that typically only has two contact points the adapter provides contact around the full circumference of the cigarette socket

Actually, we were just playing with one of those tonight. Took 3 3 amp fuses to solve the problem... It seems the tab to outer, full circumference, contact on the S10 accessory socket is high enough to short the broad center contact of the powerlet adaptor. I don't see much way to use one of those on an S10. Unless maybe one tried to insulate one part or another.

Trust me, it isn't coming out on it's own. We needed tools to remove it. Plenty of friction.

Ha. Wish I would have read this thread (especially Twisities comment) before I ordered that adapter. Bright side is that I only burned through one 3 amp fuse. Buyer beware on this cig to Powerlet adapter on the S10.
