106 degrees? Holy crap man, get in the A/C before you melt.
Oh you're such a softy - I WAIT for 100+ degree days, THEN I decide it's time to service the bike. Aussies are tough man...

I threw in some royal purple my last change and it really smoothed out. The FD also felt much cooler to the touch.

I don't dare argue that Aussies are tough! But how can it be 100 degrees in Winter?
Where are you?

This is Australia in MAY!

That's not frost...

This is frost..

That was the end of MAY just before winter starts kicking in.

We heard you were coming so we turned the heat up.

Actually it's been no less than a balmy 1 Deg (33F) in the mornings riding to work this year.

I had to look it up because frankly I'm too tough to notice :D

congratulations on being able to read your own handwriting! ::025:: Me, not so much. Especially when I tend to add oil smudges to the page.

Just downloaded Evernote on my computer and my Droid phone. I think this will really help me keep better notes with the added pic.
Thanks to the op..

I've been using Evernote for 3 years - web, pc, droid, iPhone, iPad, Mac .... I would be lost without it. Drag your pdf docs in there and make sure you have the notebook off-line synced ... and never be without your manual ever again.

Funny you mention the PDF manual thing...

On my iPhone I have a little utility called simply "PDF Reader", and it works great. Convert any document to a PDF (on Macs it's easy - you just print 'em to a PDF) or grab any PDF document from anywhere else, load it on the phone via iTunes, and voilá - instant manuals, etc. on your phone at all times.

I have the complete Super Ténéré factory *SERVICE* manual, as well as the owners manual, the maintenance/parts list from this forum's tech section, and a ton of other stuff on there, too... Manuals for my Suburban and my Caddy, for my Versys and XR1200, radar detector and my Canon S95 camera manuals, Garmin GPS manual, PDF copies of my insurance cards and info, AAA card, med list card, etc., etc., etc., etc. In other words, just about anything you can think of I have on my iPhone as a PDF, and it's all instantly accessible even without a cellular or WiFi connection. Just open the app, select the PDF file you want, and it opens up. Some *BIG* files, like the service manual, take a few seconds to open, but most open instantly.

When I'm on trips I even load on PDF copies of my travel itinerary, hotel conformations, ticket receipts, etc. so those are immediately available at check-in, etc.

Works great. And it's not the only one out there. It's the one I started with, so I have stuck with it, but ones like Goodreader, iPDF, and others are supposed to be as good, or better. Some are free, and some are like $3 bucks or so.

Anyway, just FYI...
