I've been searching far and wide for a set of auxiliary driving lights, for increased visibility. I've bought and returned several lights kits and mounting brackets but finally settled on these Amazon Nilights

I spent extra for the brackets because the Denali's are quality - rock solid, unlike so many of the cheap ones you'll see on Amazon that I tried and returned, or the crap ones that come with some of the various light kits I tried, and returned. All were absolute junk - flimsy metal, bolts of the wrong length, missing hardware, etc. If the mount isn't solid, what's the use? I figured I could spend less on the lights and the nilights have been great so far. The cases are really solid metal and the lights are small and very bright. The mounting hardware that came with it is decent. So far so good. The harness is very convenient, but be warned that the switch that comes with it is of poor quality and pretty much impossible to mount (see photo).
I chose to solder it directly to a spare three-prong outlet I found on my bike so they turn on when I turn on the key. So far everything works great. I bypassed the relay, the leads for the battery and removed the crappy switch that came. Question - is there a way to remove all the extra bulk of the wiring and the relay given that I'm not using any of it? (see photo) None of it except the switch can be disconnected so I just stuffed it under the right cover and barely got it to lock down but it's a mess under that cover and there's a ton of wiring already there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Anyhoo, I'm happy with my setup and glad to be way more visible on the road.
