For those who don't want to carry fuel for their camp stove and want a little extra electrical power to charge stuff, consider this little beauty.

For xmas, my folks bought my wife and me a Biolite stove with the grill and kettle pot attachments. Pretty neat little setup. I test fired it, it boiled water in a hurry and added about 7% of charge to my iPhone 4S in about 20 min. The burn chamber is a little small so there is an operator learning curve but it is certainly a neat piece of hardware. I have only boiled water on it so far but plan on trying out the grill attachment in the near future. Cant wait to take it camping. It is a touch on the large size, but weighs about as much as a typical backpack stove with fuel. The grill attachment is pretty large, probably wouldn't take that on a longer camping trip where space is a premium. The Kettle pot is pretty cool, its large enough to store the stove in and kept it safe from damage.

Here is a picture of the test fire.

I'll come clean. Was a bit of a fire bug as a child. This stove is an engineering masterpiece. What's totally cool is the orange power module has a small integral ventilation fan to boost the fire.
