When I have my bike on the center stand it leans to the right and is not straight up. This normal? Like one leg is a bit shorter than the other on the stand.

Seems strange to me but wanted to know if there was a problem.

Thanks

Are you sure you're on a level grade? Be interested to see pictures of what you're talking about as well as what the measurements are of the legs

Tough trying to take a pic to show what I am talking about. I checked on my driveway and my garage floor. Garage floor is level. I put level on the rear rack and it is definitely off. Strange, not sure how a center stand can be off...Have to dig into it this weekend.

Does the stand come from the factory installed or does the dealer install it?

Mine leans a bit to the right ever so slightly when putting it up on the stand at initial contact with the ground. Appears to be plumb at rest on the stand. When coming off the stand sitting on the bike it does give a bit of push to the right. I'm thinking to take a mill file and work on the front roll/nose of the left foot.

Cory, even I have seen this on my bike. Its very slight and it looks OK to others eyes but when I look at it ..I feel that the bike leans a bit on the right....hmmmm

I took a closer look and looks like either the two vertical stand pipes are not of same length or the flat plates under them are not of same thickness. In either case I would not loose sleep over it. For me they are just slight off.

It seems to be installed correctly. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't on the verge of failing and having the bike fall over from a bad install.

Mine also tilts to the right.very minimal .mass production of parts means jigs sometimes need adjusting and somebody fell asleep at the wheel. ::021::
