Ever been to Gimli, Manitoba [formerly known as "New Iceland"]?

At one time the Icelandic population in "New Iceland"was 1/5 the population of "Old Iceland".

She's not bad for a 12 year old. Well, anyone under about 40 looks 12 to me. R

What she forgot to add is that, 50 years from now, all of the climactic refugees from the 'Merican Southwest will be be flowing to the North. During my oral exam for my Masters (in Washington DC) I had to cover a National Security Strategy for Canada 10 years out. I included (kinda like the bonus round) a plan for 50 years out that included hub and spoke infrastructure in our North to accommodate said climactic refugees.....

Just saying.

I'd love for Yukon to become the garden spot of North America ... of course, I'll be fertilizer by then but maybe we'll start heading in that direction soon. R
