Hi. Whilst waiting for my bike to be repaired next week for a fried rectifier regulator connection I've been examining the electrical area and can see a wire disconnected. I'm trying to think what could have caused the problem other than a lithium battery I installed a few months ago. Anyone know what this wire connector is?

It looks to be connected to a resistor, I suspect someone has fitted LED Indicators to your bike and fitted those resistors to stop them flashing too quickly.. do your indicators flash too quickly? It might be that they later fitted the correct flasher unit and then disconnected the resistor as it was no longer needed. If your indicators flash at the correct speed (both sides!), I would not worry about it.

Yes, it‘s the V1 design and the previous owner has installed LED indicators which work fine
