Greg, when you say km, can we assume that stands for killer miles? ::26::

Your Blog was great! Starting with the Aliases, to protect the what? that's right, there were no innocent people involved!

The pictures of northern California is where I lived. Hwy 101 and 1. Klamath, Cresent City, Point Arena. I bet you rode right past Paul Bunyan. Did he wave at you?

It's been 30+ years since I've ridden up there, still my favorite place to ride.

Thank you.

That little bit of rain? We've only had 3" so far, and it should be over by Monday. Why'd ya'll have to go and run off like that? ::025::

It was nice to meet y'all. Glad to hear you had fun! ::26::
hi Sharon,

did you guys find the rox straps?
thank you very much for letting us store the truck and trailer at yours.

Wade took my bike for a spin, and is sold on the ST.
Did I hear that you're wanting to sell yours? or was I just tired?

Yes, we got the brand spanking new rox straps. Thanks! She has been talking of selling it, but hasn't advertised it yet. PM me if you want details or pics.

Sorry about the weather down here but I see you did find a few of our secret roads. By the way we on the Tenere type bikes love that roads to go to crap from smooth and glassy. We refer to them as "goat trails" Sort of like paved off-road riding.

From your blog "Now, the cherry on top. Roughly north of Westport, hwy 1, the road gets wicked twisty, about 35-40 MI of a roller coaster ride, this will be a do-over next year again. I have to take my hat? off to the drivers in California, they see you, and pretty much always get out of your way by moving over, when there’s space. Very cool"

That piece of road is the 22 mile Legget section I wrote to you about. One of the purest pieces of heaven in California. I have ridden it more than a dozen times and never get tired of it.

As for folks moving over; it is more normal than unusual. They know we are quicker and are out for a good time ::001:: and want us to have fun so they move over. Nice huh! ::012::

yep, very nice of them for sure.
Most of the time we tried to give them lots of space, and not to annoy them too much.

Best part is, my buddy on his ST1300, wants a tenere now ::015::

The weather was pretty good for the most part. I didn't even mind the down pour we got the last day.
We will be back, no doubt about it...maybe even with some street tires on the tenere.
