Went down to a dealer in Watkins Glen last weekend to check out a used Tenere. It had some of the adds that I wanted to put on mine so I wanted to see it up close, unfortunately it was a private sale and not at the shop. I did see a new FJ09 and the XSR900. When I bought my Tenere, I was focused on the Tenere only and nothing else. When I got to the dealer, I sat on the FJ and rode it along with the XSR. The FJ was nice and quick and the XS was fun to ride also. I don't think I could handle not having a windshield for a long ride though and the FJ just didnt feel right. The prices were certainly good though but like I said, on the way home, the cockpit on my Tenere was nice and quiet and seemed more comfortable in the long run. Besides there are a lot more roads to go on and a lot more farkles for the ST. I am very happy, now I just have to steer clear of the honda dealer when they get the VFR in!!

I rode the FJ-09 and a 2013 Super Tenere back to back at the local dealer last year. I liked the FJ, but I loved the Tenere.

Thanks for this thread guys...helps confirm that I made the correct choice. Was looking hard at leftover '15 FJ-09's for quite some time but something inside of me kept steering me back to the S10 based on my original 2012 pre-order and demo years back.

Picking up my one owner used (new to me) 2013 Super Tenere tomorrow :)

I like the look of the XSR900, but not enough to pick one up anytime soon. I'm trying to save my pennies for my move, and to buy a house in about a year or so.
