2012 black S10. I'm fussing with it now in my workshop, making the usual rider adjustments -- levers, handlebars, etc.

I have a 2000 R1150GS with 92,000 miles on the odometer, all mine; it will take a while to get comfortable on the Yamaha. But I'm looking forward to it.

Am I just imagining it or is there a sudden influx of new Teneres?

Something in the air?

Congrats on the new ST.... I too picked mine up last Saturday. Now to farkle........! I am anxiously awaiting the release and the verdicts of the Sargent seat. I also enjoyed many miles on the GS 1150 adv. Only problem with the ST at this point in time is the trouble it has caused in my household....my wife won't let me keep it inside.

You will absolutely love it. Mine shares miles with other bikes but everytime I ride it I dig it more and more. The more I ride it, the more I want to ride it. I have a 6 day, minimum 2k mile trip coming up next week on the Tenere and am stoked!! ::015:: Enjoy your new steed!

As a recent BMW owner, you will love it.
In the past week I sold a new GSA and an 07 RT and bought the Tenere.
I still have my old trusty 1100 GS that I've loved for for 16 yrs, but after 300 mi on the Tenere today I just don't feel the love for her anymore. It may be up for sale soon.
I was trying to think of things I liked better about the GS while I was riding today, but I couldn't really find any. The Tenere is jut such a great bike.
