My first Ride Report here, so we'll see how it goes.

Every year a bunch of local and not so local guys get together for a 10 day ride affectionately known as the BrainFlush. Every year we have a different destination and just to make it fun, we try to associate a Theme to the trip and even got t-shirts made up. This year it's the "What the Flock Tour" We've been up and down the east coast and as far west as Ohio.
Most the guys ride BMW Cruisers, there's a couple of Rocket III's and me with the S10. Their start points originate anywhere from Yardley, PA, New Jersey, Upstate New York, Mass, Michigan and we have one guy this year from CA. We've pretty much all met through the BMW Cruiser Forums and been riding together on/off for several years now.

So that set's the Stage.
This Year we're heading South from Eastern PA to Kentucky and I'll use my Droid, IPAD and Tapatalk to update the ride report with.
There's been a bit of planning for this trip throughout the year and we've rented a house in Pineville, KY for the week arriving on Saturday 7/12, but we're leaving tomorrow (7/10) known as "get out of town day". ....and I can't wait for it to get here. Been looking forward to it for awhile.

Below are a few of the routes we have planned and suggested from the guys in the Central Region here.

715 is covered . As part of 715 further south we're doing route 66. looks awesome. https://goo.gl/maps/AKvxb
Got Cumberland Gap http://goo.gl/maps/HWcbN
We've been to Wheels through Time, but who knows, we may go again.

As far a the tourism portion, we have

SGT Alvin C York ST Historic Park
Corvette Museum
Corsair Artison Distillary
Nada Tunnel
SE KY Roller Coaster - http://goo.gl/maps/IYsjt
Kentucky Coal Mine Museum - http://goo.gl/maps/3K3mX
Another Loop - https://goo.gl/maps/AKvxb

We have some alternate routes as well to visit Makers Mark Distillery and/or Limestone Branch Distillery - http://goo.gl/maps/KP2MZ

We got to the quality inn to find a nice refreshing pool after our first easy ride of about 220. Some of the other guys had a 350 mile day from there home location.

The 911 memorial is as surele today as it was the day it occurred. They did an excellent job in piecing together all of events as it related to that tragic day.
We spoke with the park ranger there and he explained without prejudice the facts that led up to the events. They were all heroes.

I have more pictures I can post later.

We had a beautiful ride to Buckley, although it was tiring after 350 miles of twisty roads. Memorable roads were route 20, 16 south.
On one of our stops, we came across this contraption.
Its a Stallion. 4 cylinder ford 2.3 with AC.

Went for a ride on the little Shepard's trail with a friend on his GS. Both of us had pilot road tires. The paved section was fine, a little slippery in spots from shady moss areas.
The dirt sections were mostly hard packed, but there were some decent ruts from repeated washouts.

More pictures along the trail. Kevin spotted a turtle crossing the trail so he had to have a picture.

More of the trail. Once we got off the trail, we stopped at a road side undercut off of 522. As we were walking back to the bikes, it started to rain; and it poured. Good thing we didn't have rain on the trail or it would've been a lot harder to get through on street tires.

Long day today ~400 miles. Went to the corvette museum and on the way back stopped at colonel sanders cafe.
I have a lot of pictures, but I'll post a few for now.
