I've been on an eight day ride and yesterday out of the blue I lost my headlights, checked the fuse and it was blown put in a new one and it blew.
2017 with 26k on the clock, any ideas?

Are you on OE halogen, or upgraded lights? Do you have ancillary lighting triggered from/via the headlights?

Obviously we are looking for a reason for that circuit to be overloaded, or could it be wiring damage, possibly just a bad fuse.

Stock halogen with no add ones.
Blew the new fuse right away.
I had a recall on the cruise control wiring earlier in the year, so that has me wondering

Maybe you have a burned out lamp, and the filament melted, but it couldn't be cut, that's why the fuse burns
