Can't really answer for Paul, but don't we all have weak moments at times?!

;D

I'm having breakfast with him in the morning, and I'm sure it will be part of the discussion.... ;)

Trem,
Rod pretty much hit it on the nose. After looking at it for 6 months in the shed, combined with a bit of a dicey health situation and resulting fear of dropping it with my wife on board, I made a stupid decision. Good news is that the health thing was diagnosed (in the last day) and is absolutely nothing, feeling really good (mostly psychologically) and eager to enjoy summer. I really appreciate your concern.

All of you,

It has been brought to my attention....by my dear wife of 39 years.....that I waited a very long time, left retirement and went back to work in order that I could buy my Tenere for cash. She feels that I probably could not find anything that would replace it and would be sad if I sold it. I went out and sat with the bike today for a long while to connect with it's Karma. That was pretty easy.

With all of that in mind, my decision has been changed by someone who loves me more than I love myself. (THAT'S A LOT! ::))

I apologize to anyone I've hurt or distressed by raising their expectations of becoming the owner of this fine machine. I'm never happy when I change a decision I've put a lot of thought into.

I will continue to harass all of you on the forum with all my might. The support I receive around here is stunning and undeserved at times. Thanks!

TRULY........ ::021::

Paul
Ahhhhh..... Now that's better! ;)

I am glad the health issue was minor and you are back on your bike. You do have a very intelligent wife. Always listen to her. ::024:: ::025::

yes... it can be a bit scary out at this end of the trail some days. the days in front of us are less than the days behind... go ride that beautiful bike and enjoy your wonderful partner. you are luck to have both ::008::

Fine. Keep the bike. How much do you want for the wife??? ;) :)
Unfortunately, in spite of the belief that she's never showed up on this forum, I lack the confidence that she will never arrive here.

No comment. ::025:: ::025:: ::025::

Actually, I've buffaloed her for 39 years, why risk the possibility that you would outdo me at that?

Did I mention that she's an amazing cook, as well?
