Black or Silver planners on a black 12

I'm getting a good deal on Vega pro panniers but can't decide between black or silver anodized. I realize it's kind of trivial, but would appreciate opinions.

I think the black would look the best. Almost bought them myself but cheaped out and went OEM. Great choice you're making in any case.

Scratches and dings on black are silver, scratches and dings on silver are still silver.

I went with silver. I also put on silver crash bars and skid plate. Unless you're going to black out the whole thing, embrace a bit of contrast.

So now is where I ask for pics lol.

Seems like about 50/50 silver vs black. I kind of like the idea of going silver on all of the accessories if I'm going to get the silver panniers. And the silver is a bit more visible from a safety standpoint.

OK. I've decided on Silver Anodized. Thanks for the pics GSteve!

I like a little contrast and hope the lighter colored bags will make a little more visible. I'll tape them up with some reflectives no doubt.

What would really look nice is some replacement decals for the front of the bike that incorporate silver instead of red. Anyone know where I might look?
