Black 2012 Super Tenere, loaded with Yamaha accessories, under 1100 miles! SOLD!

A friend of mine, Gary, bought a Super Tenere from my dealer last year and has decided to sell. He is concerned that it is too tall for him and has decided to get something shorter and so said he wanted to sell before something happens and he drops it. He doesn't do the internet thing, so I told him I would see if I could help. This bike was a showroom display unit that was outfitted with all the Yamaha accessories, including side bags, top case, tall windscreen, crash bar, skid plate, wind deflectors, both the standard and lower seat. He also has a Cee Bailey headlight protector and a Cee Bailey windscreen. This bike has less than 1100 miles on it and is absolutely perfect. We don't have any pics right now, but should have some in a couple of weeks. Gary lives near me in south central IL, but also has a house in Mountain Home, AR and the bike is down there right now.

With all these accessories and with such low miles, Gary is offering this bike for $13,500. If you are interested, please PM me and I will give you contact information so that you can talk to Gary directly.

Gary bought the extended warranty, but the dealer didn't have the driving lights when he picked it up and he didn't get the bag liners. Here is a pic the day he picked it up.

Shame to have to sell a nearly new bike. I'm barely scraping 5'7" with a 30" inseam and I have no issues riding the bike with the seat in the high position. Just how big a boy is he?

I'm not sure, but you can get an idea in the pic in the post right above your post. He says he just doesn't feel confident on it and wants something smaller.

Fair enough, just surprising as I've found the S10's low CoG and exceptional balance makes it a piece of cake to ride even through heavy city traffic. Pretty much as easy as my F650GS Dakar, on tarmac anyhow.

I understand that he is looking at a CRF250L with lowering link.

He has several other bikes, just looking for something to tool around with at his AR home when he is down there.

Gary brought the bike to IL today, about 1 hour from St Louis. I checked the mileage and he only has 1084 on it. We are also exploring the possibility of installing lowering links, so that it would fit him better. Sent a PM to Wasp.

I am a four-season rider and this is my commuter. In any case, how do I go about getting more info?
