I'm enjoying the Fizzy. I had a FZ1 back around 2002/3. Best ergonomically natural bike I'd ever sat on out of the box. An easy bike to ride well too. After 300k miles of riding 600+ lb bikes loaded up with bags and crap, the Fizzy is sooo light its comical. So much easier to push around in the parking lot, backing out of spaces or what ever.Funny you post this, was just thinking the other day how much I miss my FZ6. All around the best bike I have ever owned.
Blast around town, twisties, long distance touring, even light off-road.
Maybe its partly that I've always run both the FJR and Super Ten in full rally mode. Side cases, fuel cells, water jug and aside from the clothing bag, always loaded up for a trip. It was exceedingly rare for me to go for a ride on either w/o bags and fuel cell. Maybe twice on the S10 in 150k miles, not counting the rides home from the dealer when I bought them.To me, after the Beemer, Honda, and FJR, the Tenere feels much smaller/lighter. The KLR was the only non-liter bike I had ridden since '86. It felt almost too light/small. The Tenere, again to me, feels more like a substantial KLR, than a 600 pounder.
You should have picked up a stroller too, great tow behind...Yrs ago when I first started riding my daughter just had my grandson so I had to get a carseat. Took my 250 ninja to walmart. I was tempted to put a babydoll in seat.. that would've been funny
