This thing could come in handy for some of us.

Pretty neat idea...surprised Jaxon hasn't come up with one of these?

This is pretty clever, although the notion of being able to retrieve this from your luggage, set it up, and actually use it while you are pinned under the bike (probably with significant injuries) seems a bit far-fetched to me. And what works on one's lawn and out on the trail are two different things.

When I get to the point I can't right the bike by myself (and I'm really close to this point with the S10 which is why I'll probably sell it next year), then I'll either get a lighter bike and/or always ride with buddies in remote areas. But I suppose there are some situations where it would be quite valuable; I'd just prefer to avoid those situations in the first place.

MarkJenn that does seem a bit far fetch but these are South Africans so who knows. I have heard of guys twisting and breaking an ankle in a slow speed drop and any bike would be hard to pick up if you can't get your feet planted. I think it would be good piece of mind for some of us.

MarkB I didn't see any price on their web site or a distributor for the US.

Maybe Jaxon will see this an enquire about becoming a distributor. Our group would fit the demographics. Old men on heavy bikes ::025::

Very nice design. Wonder how much they want in USD?

To USA “snail mail” as we call it USD 222 (takes 30 – 50 days) Or airmail USD 298 (10 – 14 days)..."

It looks like a modified Hi Lift/Tractor jack.

I guess if you stored it on top of everything you could get to it. Of course it would depend upon the soil conditions whether it sinks into the ground etc. I suppose you'd also need to put a strap on the front break to keep the bike from rolling as well.

Would have been perfect for us last month when my wife dropped her bike in a gravel parking lot. I struggled and struggled trying to get foot traction to lift the bike. Only got it up after a Canadian Harley rider stopped to help. This product would have been a great help.

Dropping the Tenere is one thing that keeps me from riding off-road alone. I do miss out on some good riding.
