They are very busy, custom orders out about a month.Great people to work with.If they can help you its best to have you and your bike there and they can fit you up .Good luck,Jim

::012:: Thanks Jim , I appreciate your feed back and your time. I have a little vacation time in August so Minnesota seems like a nice place to ride to and while there I will stop in and visit the folks at aerostich

Can't believe I haven't posted in this thread.

Firstgear, Joe Tocket, Tour Master, & Speed & Strength are your best bets for off the rack gear.

I'm 6'1", 300 lbs, 54" chest, 50" waist. I wear an XL Firstgear Adventure Mesh jacket & the 48 HT Air Overpants are a good fit (I have a large posterior & thighs). The 2XL Kathmandu jacket & 48 Kathmandu pants are good for colder weather.

Depending on which Joe Rocket jacket, I'm either a 2XL or a 3XL (2X in my Hemp, 3X in the Phoenix Ion). 5XL pants are passable; it's mostly an issue of seat room.

I also have a customized Aerostich Roadcrafter with an R-3 being built, both based on the 54 Short size.

Klim, Olympia, & Rukka may work for some, but they don't for me.

Hope this helps!

you might try aerostitch, they do custom alterations to their gear...1-800-222-1994.....
No chance. I'm 6'3" 260 and they can't get me into a suit.

For a jacket, check out the First Gear Kilimanjaro. It runs a full size large, and is also shaped in a generous fashion. When I was 310, I bought a XXXL and it was too big for me, and you can get it in a XXXX. If you can't get into one of those I'd be very surprised.

There really is an opportunity for an enterprising individual to start making real plus size gear. That or one of the manufacturers needs to step up and do it. I've run into a number people who either don't wear gear, wear the wrong gear, or ill-fitting gear simply because they can't find gear that fits without paying a fortune for something custom made.
