Big difference between 2012/2013 with reflashed ECU, and 2014?

Does anyone have riding experience with both a 2012 or 2013 S10 that had the ECU reflashed as well as with a 2014 S10?

I have heard positive reports on the improved engine in the 2014, I'm just curious how it compares to a reflashed 2012 or 2013 bike.

I've ridden my ECUnleashed flashed 2011 back to back with a '14 and the latter's power delivery felt much softer.

I had the Gen 2 Ecunleashed flashed 2011 Tenere, now i have the stock 2014 with 2000 km.

There is a noticable difference, the 2014 pulls smoother (less vibrations), has less mekanical noises from the
engine. Power feels about the same, maybe with a slight edge for the 2014s midrange (3000-4000).

The power curve is great on both, comparable actually.

So the big difference is absence of vibrations, noises and perfected trottle input at low RPMs with the 2014.

Cheers!

I do find the ECU-U Gen2 Flash a bit too aggressive on small throttle openings, although I have got used to it I would still prefer a more "normal" response.

It feels as if the first 20% of wrist movement gets you 80% throttle, but in T-Mode it is like the first 80% of wrist movement only gets you 20% throttle, would love something a bit more linear.

A new 2014 is probably not the cheapest way forward, thinking more along the lines of Flashtune if they ever get hold of an ECU-U map as a starting point as I am happy with everything except that first 20% of throttle movement, if I could stretch that response out a bit more it would be perfect.

Hoping to ride a 2014 to see for myself.
