Any of you SoCal people want to run through Big Bear and down through Cactus Flats/Pioneertown/29 Palms? I will be in BB around 11am and then will head down the 18 to Cactus Flats and it will be all off road from there.

Sorry for such late notice!

Post pics. I have always wanted to ride that area. Maybe someday.

Looked like it was a great day to ride. That road probably hasn't seen a bulldozer blade in 10 years.

Is there any way you could describe the start and end points of that ride? I feel a need to make that ride. Excellent stuff. Thanks for posting that.

Here's a Google Map of the entire trail...start to finish. If you are ever out this way just let me know and we can run it.

Or longer. I have run that trail since 2003 and it only changes after rains or heavy ice and snow. The beginning has actually mellowed a bit over the years from the ice and snow flattening some parts. It is a fun day trip and not hard to run through at all.
