They do the same thing, the Excel is easier to lock on and off. The Kaoko is pretty well price fixed everywhere. Buy the second hand one.

The Kaoko works just fine. Twisted Throttle is a great place to buy it, and yes the prices are pretty well fixed. I paid about 120.00
