I am not one for reading assembly instructions, at least not at first. But I just had to read the instructions that came with the inner liner I bought for the OEM rear case for my ST. Here they are:

1. Place the inner bag inside the top case.
2. The maximum cargo carrying capacity for the inner bag is 11 lbs.

Well hot damn, even I can follow that! If you want to get picky, #2 isn't even really instructions. So you could really get by with only following #1.

That's what I get for not reading the instructions. I have been trying to put the box into the bag. ;D

Um...well, yeah. I couldn't decide if the "Tenere" logo was the front or the back of the bag. I finally gave up in frustration. Wish Yamaha would have included this small detail in the instructions. ::024::

Another one I just read yesterday when instaling my Pinlock anti fog insert in my helmet visor, included this step: "Close your shield and don's stop breathing."

Glad I read that part!

If they're going to include instructions with the luggage, I would have thought they might have given us some guidance on what they intend with the expandable panels in the liners for the panniers. My take is that the liners are intended to be used expanded on the right/slightly-wider side and not expanded on the left.
