I've always thought it sounds sluggish. My neighbor said the battery was bad three years ago. He compares it to his Gold Wing, which has a very fast starter.

battery came in this morning, just put it in the turnover speed is bit faster, seems like they have more Vigor if that makes sense, the old battery seemed like it struggled with it. Also the amount of turn overs prior to fire is shorter.(@40f, with a cold motor) it was crank, crank, on with the lithium. with the old battery its was 3-6 cranks before fired up. Id imagine a 14s would behave closer to the same as its the CCA that make the difference. This has a claimed 500A but your bike will only draw what it needs/can when cranking so i know its not using, or needs the full 500a, this could easily start most cars with that power.

I like the threaded posts design over the nut and bolt style of other motorcycle batteries. makes for easy attachment of the cables along with all the accessories i have on the bike. The way it comes with snap on spacers is also nice, over all pretty innovative design. I did need to flatten the wrap around edges of the positive cable with some pliers but a minor item.

way lighter less than half @ around 4lbs compared to the 8.6 for a yusa

this is the one i got, if i happen to have any issues down the line i'll report em

I am a big fan of NOCO's battery Charger/Maintainers as I currently have two (GENIUS 3500, GENIUS 2) which both work
great and are extremely well made. Will be quite curious to hear how you like their lith batt after a seasons worth of use.
