I think that link is out of date. They had just a few of these back in March 2016 if memory serves me correctly.

Aldi tend to do a week of Biker gear in the UK, at the start of the season, around Easter time. Anything unsold gets discounted heavily 3/4 weeks later, so I got myself some perfectly serviceable waterproof touring boots last time around, for £20. Not the most elegant, but OK for everyday/short runs & they save wear on my best Daytonas.

^^^^^ Linked worked for me as well. Unless they took the money and will send an email next week saying they cannot make good on it............................... I did look afterwards and the site would not allow any to be placed into your basket. Time will tell. ::017::

Can you use something like Basecamp or Tyre to program routes with Copilot?

No...

I did use Base Camp with my Garmin which was useful...but it also caused problems - roads look different in real life to how they appear on Basecamp! An French alpine goat track in a thunderstorm in the dark was different to how it looked on Base Camp! I had planned the route and my group did not seem to understand the intricacies of planning routes with Base Camp!

However, you can plan a route in Copilot and look at several route alternatives and set to motorbike...I have not missed my garmin yet...and it's low cost...

Copilot on your mobile phone works great andeal a fraction of the cost...
+1 I got the free trial and tried it and think it's fantastic, hid my phone in my tank bag and used voice command on a road that I knew and it turned me around got me back on track no matter how far off route I took it! ::008::

My mate Cliff has the £30 odd version and programmed in motorbike when we toured Wales and the roads it took us on were fantastic, and our basecamp was Clun in Shropshire, where I've stopped at several times, and it took us into the village a totally different route I didn't know existed!

I have used my Samsung S5 in the rain on the bike with no cover without issues. Due an upgrade next week so going for a S7. Coupled with a £3 holder off ebay and I am done.

I think in total my complete outlay on Copilot for full lifetime maps for Western Europe and North America was well under £20.00.

I have also just come across OS maps for Android. A one year subscription for the Whole of the UK was £19.00! Works really well in my phone for tracks, paths, walking & route planning.
