After a nice brunch with the other Tenere and FJR guys on Sunday, I decided to spend some time in the mountains between Thurmont, MD and Frederick, MD. There is a nice network of dirt roads up there. Nothing too technical, but you can run around up there for an hour or two, and have some fun. The water crossing is not much more than a puddle now, but it still did get me wet.

Tabasco's recent video reminded me that it's fun to play with the camera, so I pulled mine back out of the case and messed around a bit.

Great work on the video! I'd love to see some of your mounting setups and locations. I've used my GoPro (and Swann) quite a bit on my other bikes, but haven't really explored good mounting locations on the Tenere yet. On my V-Twins I found vibration to be a major issue with the GoPro mounts. Ended up using Ram mounts for most of the locations. It seems the rubber balls help isolate that a bit better. Also, curious what you're using for editing software. Thanks!

Everytime I watch one of your videos, you have me convinced I need a better camera!

Thanks, guys.

Topgear: I used two different Ram mounts. One on the frame right next to the rear footpeg. Another Ram ball on the crashbars. I have two Ram extension arms to allow multiple angles. Also used one of those twisty leg tripods, a helmet mount, and that video included some hand held stuff. I used PowerDirector to do the editing.

spklbuk: I lived with a inferior camera for a very long time. Finally bought the Drift and I'm very pleased with it. No regrets.
