Avon CO next spring "STAR"

It's a long way off but next spring MSTA STAR is in Avon, CO. I'm planning to be there on the Tenere for sure, if fact we have a small group committed already from Northern CA. This should be about as good as it gets for sport tour and I'd bet there are some dirt roads in that vicinity .

Any fellow MSTA members/Tenere owners planning on this yet?

I may be able to attend on my Super Tenere. The Christie Lodge at Avon is a great place and the riding is fantastic. I was there for STAR in 1995 and 2000.

Our small group will be a mixed bag, a GS, VFR, FJ and VTR. Probably some folks you know, John, Rich, Leonard and Steve. This will probably be my first long run on this bike.

I have never been to Avon. I did spend two weeks in the Rocky's on a Honda GL1800 back in 2001, that was fantastic!

I will be there for sure on the Tenere! +1 on what FredZ says about the Christie Lodge, they do an outstanding job of hosting STAR. You willnot be disappointed.

I'll be there with my SuperT! I made it to STAR 2000 at the Christie Lodge but had to miss '06. It's a beautiful location and we had tons of fun there. Look forward to meeting you and seeing Leonard again.
