Supposedly there is a viewing of a SUper Tenere at a local Yamaha dealer this coming Sat evening for an open house unveiling. This dealer is dealer of the year or something. I don't know for sure.

Those are very nice pics...one thing comes to mind though -

Somebody's nuts should be chopped off for slapping that afterthought of a black shroud around the tank on the beauty blue sled.
What happened to the silver color the Euro's get?
Man that looks way unfinished to me.
I betting several of the blue buyers will be heading to their fav paint shop to get a cheap job done...or a rattle can job even.
I am really quite stunned that Yammy let this go to the states like that.

At first I was a a little dissappointed that we got the black shroud, especially since I was used to seeing the bike with the silver shrouds. But, the more I see it with the black shrouds, the more I am okay with it. I do have the raven on order so that may be some of it but there will be options available like vinyl graphics (Hoebster, we are waiting ;)) or paint or own color choice. I bet it did have to do with cost cutting and standard spare parts inventory.

The black shrouds are starting to grow on me, too, although they look a bit too shiny in the Asphalt and Rubber pics. I wonder if they armoralled them or something? I'm hoping them to be a bit more matte black. But I do like the fact that the seat sides are black rather than gray. I kind of wish the blue came with black rear seat carrier, rear racks, grab handles, etc. like the raven.

They're more a satin black. The rear end could be easily repainted .... wouldn't cost much either.

the black shroud on the blue scoot just looks way unfinished to me. I think the black is a smashing good looker. Hopefully it looks this good in person.

I liked the blue and silver when I first saw it, and now I think the black and blue would be ok..

However after looking at pictures of the World Crosser, I really like the Kevlar look. I also like the rear as a solo bike. When I get mine I'd like to sit it up like the solo WC...

I really have too much time on my hands and need to stop looking at pictures..LOL
