Arrow Slip On - Snatchy throttle - Pop on Decelleration

Just Purchased a second hand Arrow system and fitted the Slip on only at this point. Love the noise, however the bike now pops on deceleration and, it could be my imagination, but I feel the bike is now snatchy at low speeds (I do spend 99% of the time in sport mode). I was waiting for a service interval to fit the link and headers -due soon,
I had an ECU reflash recently that transformed the bike in a very positive way and I would hate to undo all the good work. Any suggestions?

I have no experience with the Arrow system ( I have Akrapovic fitted) but I would suggest that you install the remainder of the Arrow system in order to 'balance ' the bikes breathing ::008::

The popping is normal on over run, even with the Arrow headers. I haven't noticed a snatchy throttle but it can hunt a bit at low revs.

I think the stock bike probably pops, but the standard exhaust systems mutes it completely, I only have arrow headers but can hear some popping coming through the stock end-can.

End can should not alter anything that much, but with headers fitted as well it might need a bit of adjustment to the fuelling, worth it as you will get a LOT more top end with the headers fitted ::008::

If you don't have a Power Commander yet, it will probably help.

Most bikes, including the Tenere, are programmed with Lean fuel maps to satisfy the EPA. That causes lean surge, among other issues. Reducing exhaust restriction will exacerbate that problem. A PCV or other fuel module will correct this, with the correct map installed.
