Arrow headers with Akrapovic can.

I have recently purchased a set of Arrow headers from a member of the forum and will be fitting them at some point in the future,i have an Akrapovic slip on fitted to the bike already (it was on the bike when i bought it).So i can get the job done in one hit i assume i will need 2 x manifold gaskets (4FM-14613-00)? and what gasket if any will ineed to go from the collector to the Akrapovic slip on? Any advice appreciated.

I've not done it myself but I believe you'll also need to flash the ECU or your fueling will be off as a result of the free-er flowing headers and the can. The can by itself doesn't require a flash.

The guy that bought the bike new had an ECUunleashed flash done when he first had the bike,i'm not sure if that will help with the Arrow headers.

I think the flash needs to take the headers into account when mapping but you may be OK depending on what mapping was loaded. I haven't done any ECU flashing so I'm not the best person to answer...I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly...

I have ECU unleash flasch .... Leo vince slipon , DNA airfilter and Cut down airintake inside airfilterbox ....
Yesterday i put on ARROW headers .... rids fantasic ::012:: ::012:: ::012:: ... no " surge " att 1800-2000 Rpm : :, run and sound fantasic ::26:: ::26::

BUT i have A europé model = air screw out 3/4 turn

I fitted the Arrow headers at the weekend but since then it's rained everyday so not had a chance to get out on the road and see how the bikes goes,it does sound nice in the garage though with the Arrow's and the Akrapovic can.
