Me too. For those heading up from the South, what time do you think you will be passing Longview?
The next rest area north of Gee Creek is Toutle River at mile post 54, 5 miles north of Castle Rock. If we're in and out of Gee Creek (mile post 12) from 7:30 to 7:40 that should put us going by mile post 54 (42 miles/minutes) later at 8:22. Should we roll through and meet up?

My plan is to hang out at the Longview Wye (mile post 36) and just pull in behind y'all as you cruise on by.

Let me know if I missed anyone.

Glen, I'll call with a count when we hit Grand Mound, looks like 8:40ish.

If anyone is still up and knows... is the gravel section loose enough that skid plates are required? I'd like to go, but I don't have the armored bits on yet. They were my chore for tomorrow, but I'd rather ride if the road is not a danger to my soft underbelly.

Its graded gravel for about15/ 20 miles then glorious pavement. There are a few sections of gravel that have had small slides with debris that is easily avoidable. If you feel you don't want to chance it, meet us at the base of the Wynoochie Dam at about 1:30. My wife will be there on her red G-650gs and a few others might show as well

Thanks Glen for planning the ride and inviting everyone. It was a great ride. Good to meet other S10 riders. For those I didn't meet today , maybe there will be a next time.

It was indeed a great day, a great ride, and Glen was a great host. It was nice meeting so many of you that I had only previously known in digital form! I am still scratching my head at that stretch of highway between Wynoochee Dam and Montesano being posted at 45. Yeah right... ::26:: Looking forward to many more to come!

I am so glad that everyone had a great time! It still amazes me that I can pull stuff like this off. I just wanted to go for a ride in the woods and 19 Teneres, 3 BMW 's and a wee-strom shows up! Plus Altrider and a box of goodies!
THANKS EVERYONE !!!!

What a great ride. Wish I could have been there. Nice to see all those ST's together - great shot. I liked the lunch pic as well! Yum.
